For this we use the latest laser technology, which creates a fingerprint that can be felt. Fingertip or filled
JEWELLERY WITH FINGERPRINT
There are two ways in which we can engrave a fingerprint on your SILK jewellery.
FINGERTIP
If you opt for a full fingerprint, the full shape of the fingertip is recognizable. The lines are sometimes a bit too close together and therefore the pattern of the fingerprint will be slightly less visible.
FILLED
You can also opt for a part of the print, which is fully engraved on the lock of your bracelet. This makes the pattern more recognizable, but the shape of the fingertip is less visible.
It is ultimately your personal taste what you like best.

We use laser technology, which means that the print can be reproduced in great detail. The fingerprint jewelry that we supply is of high quality, which gives an additional cost.
Most regular fingerprint jewelry that is offered is placed one on one as you supply it. In that case, nothing is done about the fingerprint itself. We only place high-quality fingerprints. This means that we convert the supplied fingerprint into vectors, align and clean it. This makes the fingerprint tighter and clearer. It can then be engraved more deeply and this gives more relief on the jewellery.
Obviously, this involves more work and will therefore take 10 working days. The cost of a high-quality fingerprint engraving is €95.

how to create your fingerprint

If you opt for a fingerprint on your SILK jewelry, we will engrave it on your jewelry using laser technology. Your fingerprint can be submitted digitally or on paper. Follow the following steps.
Create fingerprint
Apply a layer of black or blue ink to the finger of which you want to engrave the print on your jewelry. This is easiest with an ink pad, but you can of course also use a pen. Then place the side of the finger on a piece of white paper and rotate the finger across the paper from left to right. Press your finger firmly on the paper and turn in one smooth motion. Try a few fingers to see which gives the best result.
Delivery
If you are satisfied and have made a nice print, you can take a photo or a scan and email it to us orders@silkjewellery.nl. This is possible in PDF and JPG format. You may also send us the paper with the printout by post. We then ensure that your fingerprint is digitized and vectorized before we start engraving it.
